What is Zbrush:
ZBrush is a digital sculpting tool that combines 3D/2.5D modeling, texturing and painting. It uses a proprietary "pixol" technology (see below) which stores lighting, color, material, and depth information for all objects on the screen. The main difference between ZBrush and more traditional modeling packages is that it is more akin to sculpting.

ZBrush is used as a digital sculpting tool to create high-resolution models (up to millions of polygons, and theoretically unlimited) for use in movies, games, and animations. It is used by companies ranging from ILM to Electronic Arts. ZBrush uses dynamic levels of resolution to allow sculptors to make global or local changes to their models. ZBrush is most known for being able to sculpt medium to high frequency details that were traditionally painted in bump maps. The resulting mesh details can then be exported as normal maps to be used on a low poly version of that same model. They can also be exported as a displacement map, although in that case the lower poly version generally requires more resolution. Or, once completed, the 3D model can be projected to the background, becoming a 2.5D image (upon which further effects can be applied). Work can then begin on another 3D model which can be used in the same scene. This feature lets users work with extremely complicated scenes without heavy processor overhead.

Zbrush was created by the company Pixologic Inc, founded by Ofer Alon and Jack Rimokh. The software was presented in 1999 at SIGGRAPH. The demo version 1.55 was released in 2002 and the software is in 2008 arrived at version 3.1. Ofer Alon is also widely known by CG artists as "Pixolator".

An accredit to the strength of the community surrounding ZBrush, several 'fan'sites have been created around the ZBrush. Sites like iZbrush.com focus on bringing free training materials and resources to all those interested.

Ok so I have this program...and I will put it soon on download so that people may try it...plenty of artists use it and it's great...I tried it...AWESOME.

I'm sure everybody would like to have it and I will give them a chance lol.

What you can also do with your character you made in it...you can export it into a 3d software which has animating tools like (maya, cinema 4d,3d max studio etc)...Or you can just edit your character a bit in photoshop.I've also seen that many game developers are using Zbrush to make these characters...like assassins creed...well actually how can you see it's made in zbrush?...well it's like this.
Games with more details like assasinss creed are made in zbrush because it's the only program that can handle so much details (I think)

So much details right?
Don't know if you like it...but I think it's awesome!

Manga..........

  • Mood: Not Impressed
  • Listening to: something strange
  • Reading: stupid forum posts on RMD
  • Watching: drawings created on RMD
  • Playing: with windows
  • Eating: something stranger
  • Drinking: drinking spmething strange
Ok so...what I really hate is when...well.It's more like ratemydrawings.com rating.People who draw Manga there get more rates then realism or anything else. Now I think...and think...and I'm asking myself...why is Manga so popular on RMD....I am 100% sure there's more Manga drawing on RMD thhen any other category drawings.I'm a bit mad at this.
Now...I'll prove...that Manga is so easy to draw...that even a monkey can do it...or a 3 year old.So people who draw manga...I don't really care but.seriously...draw something else.Even I can do that.RMD is not just anime...nor is any other online drawing site. Now that I'm gonna try and draw anime...I'll also record the time....the thing is...I'm a mouse user.So...it might take longer...but it's still EASY.
Don't know if everybody agrees with me....but Mangas isn't that difficult...and people really don't watch at other drawings.
It's sad.Poor things happening.I am currently rank 106 on RMD and I really don't care how I finish...but there's one user...who can barely draw manga or something...that is somewhere rank 70...not sure....but...sad.
